Ed is a passionate, creative and pragmatic trainer, coach and consultant with
15 years experience in sales, sales management, marketing, training and consultancy. His Core activities are: improving sales force effectiveness, training and coaching on all managerial levels, providing HR solutions such as competency frameworks, leadership development and behavioral change.
Ed spent many years in the pharma industry before joining an international training company, where he brought his training and consultancy skills together. After that, he specialized in sales effectiveness, using modern technologies such as iPad applications to monitor sales teams performances.
Ed began his career as a territory manager for Rhone-Poulenc-Rorer (merged into Sanofi-Aventis), became sales manager after a year before joining Parke-Davis as training & development manager. After the merger with Pfizer, Ed joined Organon to work as Global Sales Curriculum Manager. In this function he was part of the global project team to improve sales force effectiveness and was responsible for change management and the learning curriculum. In this role he travelled all over the world to work with multicultural groups.
He was responsible for launching 8-step coaching as the worldwide coaching model and the training program within Organon and Numico through train the trainer programs.
Ed holds a Master’s degree in Management Consultancy, Rotterdam School of
Management, Erasmus University Rotterdam.
Ed is a pragmatic analyst who searches for the best solution in all cases, he has a great sense of humor whilst having very high expectations at the same time.
